To get in the mood for the coming feast day of my patron saint, St. Patrick, I can’t resist watching (and listening) once again his story as told in this irresistible animated video.

This is from a series called “Give Up Yer Aul Sins”  from Brown Bag Films, and you won’t be surprised to know that they have received voluminous awards for the work.  Each one in the series is based upon the 1960s recordings of young children in Dublin telling Bible stories in a classroom to their schoolteacher.

This one is a child’s rendition of the story of St. Patrick.
